About eternal.ag
eternal.ag is a German agtech startup building fully autonomous robots for greenhouses. It eliminates the single biggest risk in greenhouse operations: labor uncertainty.
Its robots handle the repetitive, physically demanding crop work, enabling growers to run predictable operations and deliver uniform harvest quality at scale.
Founded in 2025 by Renji John and Sherry Kunjachan, the team has grown to 30+ people with headquarters in Cologne and an office in Bengaluru. The company is backed by Simon Capital, Oyster Bay Venture Capital, Equity Pitcher and Backbone Ventures.
About Renji John
Renji John is CEO and co-founder of eternal.ag, a German agritech startup building fully autonomous harvesting robots for greenhouses. He brings deep experience across startups, strategy, and agritech to his mission of helping growers scale greenhouse production through robotics and AI. Previously, Renji was a Principal at Boston Consulting Group. He holds an MBA from INSEAD.
About Sherry Kunjachan
Sherry Kunjachan is CTO and co-founder of eternal.ag, a German agritech startup building fully autonomous harvesting robots for greenhouses. He is a seasoned technology leader with nearly three decades of experience building and scaling technology products across startups and corporates. Sherry holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Kerala.
